Meet Maria

Maria is a dynamic and compassionate therapist with over a decade of experience as a licensed clinician. As the regional clinical director of Emend Healthcare, she leads with a vision that blends innovative therapeutic practices with a deep understanding of mental health. Her expertise not only enriches the lives of her clients but also empowers fellow clinicians in her region. A true advocate for mental wellness, Maria continues to elevate the standards of care in her field, making her a prominent figure in the healthcare community. Maria holds a Masters Degree in psychology from the New School for Social Research and a Master of Social work from New York University. She has worked at prestigious hospitals such as Yale New Haven hospital and New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell bringing a rich background in Dialectical Behavior therapy to the table. 

 

In her free time Maria spends time with her two horses Dulce and Pumba. She is an avid equestrian and polo player
