Dr. Courtney Scott is our medical director/doctor. Dr. Scott has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Loyola Marymount University, coursework in Business Administration from UMass Amherst, and of course a degree as a Doctor of Medicine from Keck USC School of Medicine. 

Dr. Scott is an award-winning physician. He won the AFAM/LMKU Kenneth Award in Scholarly Achievements in Psychology, as well as outstanding performance for his knowledge in internal medicine. He was recognized three (3) years in a row from Keck School of Medicine at USC. He has also been recognized by the African American A-HeFT, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and the Obesity and Outcome in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for his research performances. 

Dr. Scott is a board-eligible physician in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He brings an understanding, and ability to work well in a busy and/or stressful environment to the behavioral health care industry. He has extensive knowledge of MAT protocols and is certified as a physician to have the most up-to-date information regarding Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT). He started his career early in 2010 working in internal medicine and quickly saw a need for medical professionals with the understanding and knowledge of addiction. Dr. Scott was able to work his way into the behavioral health care industry from 2015 to the present. He is one of the most popular medical doctors in the behavioral health care industry due to his empathy towards the patients and his strict policies with medication management. 

Dr. Scott has taken the time to train his medical team in treating each patient with the utmost understanding both clinically and medically. All clients are provided the same treatment regardless of their situation.
