My name is Selena. I am 36 years young and a mom of three. I’ve always felt a calling to be in the medical field, driven by a desire to help people in any way I can. Being there for others when they need hope or simply someone who cares is incredibly fulfilling. There are moments when I wonder if I’m doing enough, but when a client thanks me for my kindness or for listening, I know I’ve found my purpose.
Reason for Nomination: On Sunday, November 10th, Selena displayed extraordinary leadership and quick thinking during an urgent medical situation. Remaining calm and composed, she coordinated with her team and provided critical first aid that was instrumental in ensuring the client’s stability. Her actions demonstrated not only her expertise but also her genuine care and commitment to the well-being of our clients.
Selena is a new addition to the Montclair IMS office staff, having joined us less than three months ago, but she has already made a significant impact. She consistently brings compassion and professionalism to her role, ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and cared for. Her humility and dedication are truly inspiring—when praised for her efforts, she simply said, “I’m just doing my job.”

His academic journey began at East Los Angeles College, where he obtained his certification in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and continued to Antioch University Los Angeles, where he earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in addiction. Certified with both CCAPP and CAADE, Eddie employs a multi-modal approach in his practice, including DBT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy, to address addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
